Clarissa is a fantastic nutrition coach and trainer. I have attended her Barre, Muscle, and WERQ classes for years. She motivates, communicates clearly, and is incredibly knowledgeable. I have been working with her as my nutritional coach for 8 weeks now and have learned so much! The Adagio FIT program is well organized, informative, and has provided me with support as I’ve made some big changes to my eating habits. One of my fitness goals was to increase my running distance and endurance. She helped me develop a training plan that took my monthly cycle into account. She has also taught me so much about fueling for running workouts and I have felt and seen positive results! She designed a macro plan specifically for my goals. It has been a game changer for me in such a positive way to know that I have a clear plan of how to achieve my personal fitness and nutritional goals. She’s also just a dynamic and wonderful person to work with! I’ve felt uplifted and inspired each time I have a coaching session!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Adagio Fit and Clarissa. I started seeing her after having my 4th baby and my body showed it. She has been so wonderful to work with my post baby body. She truly understands the differences between women’s and men’s bodies and knows when to make adjustments to fit a women’s body. I have always felt like she has cared about me as a person and friend, not just a client. She understands the demands that come with being a wife and mother and she meets me where I’m at, but still pushes me to be my best. The progress I’ve seen while training with Clarissa is better than I expected! She is amazing!

I went into my first training session with a lot of limiting beliefs. I thought that because I wasn’t a “sporty” person, I wasn’t an “athletic” person either.

I worked out at home because I felt self-conscious around the “gym rats” I assumed would judge me. I didn’t even try to lift heavier or push myself harder because I didn’t trust my body. And, probably the most limiting, I thought my body was betraying me because no matter what I did for it, I “couldn’t lose weight.”

During my 12-week training program with Clarissa, I’ve done a complete 180. Her focus on body + mind gave me the physical skills I needed to strengthen and tone my muscles AND the mental skills to get out of my own way when it comes to losing weight. I’ve tried other methods of losing weight, but they’ve all been missing that essential component of improving my mentality surrounding my body. I’ve learned to see my body as a friend I have love and compassion for, and that has made all the difference.

Now, I feel like I’m working together with my body to become healthier, stronger, and to do things I’ve never done before, and THAT is what drives me. It’s not a number on the scale or a certain dress size. I’ve continued to lose pounds and inches, but those have become secondary benefits to how rewarding it is to shave time off my mile, fit in one more burpee, or improve the form of my pushups.

I would not have been able to make so many changes so quickly without Clarissa’s help. Her holistic approach is exactly what I needed, and has helped me create a sustainable, healthy lifestyle so I can continue my progress. I’m not embellishing or exaggerating when I say that with each week, I feel stronger, more feminine, and more empowered than ever before!

I went to Clarissa for help training for a marathon and because I wanted to prep my body for pregnancy. It’s the hardest thing to find and then UNDERSTAND exercises online to prepare your body BEFORE you get pregnant. Luckily, Clarissa understood what I was talking about and has been giving me workouts that help in both areas. I have sheets to fill out and videos to follow, plus the workouts change so my muscles and I don’t get bored. She even sent me nutrition tips for long runs. My runs are noticeably easier on my body now, and I can tell I’m getting stronger. Thank you, Clarissa!

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about training with Clarissa. She truly understands women’s bodies and the relationship between women’s bodies and their hormones. I started training with Clarissa 6 weeks after having baby number 4 and my body image and self confidence was at an all time low. She truly helped me learn how to get in tune with my body and learn that you earn self confidence before you earn the “ideal” number on the scale. At the same time she gave me the mental and physical tools to reach the “ideal” number on the scale. She is 100% in my corner in all ways. Always supportive and pushing me to be my very best! Clarissa is the best around and training with her is one of the things I look forward to most every week.
